This season at FMFW, designer Mariano Moreno took a bold new step — presenting his first-ever menswear collection. And it was a hit. With 15 years in the fashion industry (think: Givenchy, Lanvin, Chloé, Pronovias, Rosa Clará), Mariano finally took center stage under his own name. Launched in 2023, the Mariano Moreno brand is based between Paris and Barcelona, known for haute couture, cocktail, bridal, and accessories. But Miami brought something new — his menswear debut. Vibrant, sensual, and effortlessly cool, the collection felt tailor-made for the city. Very yummy. Very Miami. The next day, we joined Mariano on South Beach, where he was shooting an editorial for the new collection. But it didn’t feel like a shoot. It felt like a celebration: friends, fashion, sunlight, and pure joy. We asked him: What does this menswear collection mean to you?

“First of all, it’s a breakthrough. After 15 years of couture and womenswear, making a full menswear collection under my own name is something I didn’t expect — and I’m thrilled. I have to thank the producers, creative forces, and friends Ruslan Ev and Valentina who gave me this chance at FMFW. This collection proves that menswear can be as creative, playful, and fantastic as couture. It’s fun — and I want to be part of that joy!”
