Designer Core made its debut in Paris this season, presenting its first runway show with the collection HUMAN. Built as a gender-free shirt brand, Designer Core challenges the idea that clothing should define identity. Instead, it creates space for the individual to define themselves. The name “ASH” is rooted in the silent French “H” — a letter that exists without sound, present yet undefined — combined with the idea of “Hope,” where creation becomes a quiet source of strength for others.
The collection explores the hidden layers within each person. At first glance, the garments appear minimal and restrained, but underneath lies complexity — emotion, contradiction, and inner strength. This duality is reflected through subtle design elements: zippers revealing unexpected color, structured shirts that open into something more personal, and details that suggest transformation rather than statement.
French phrases appear discreetly across the pieces, acting as private affirmations — small reminders that sometimes even a quiet “I can do this” is enough. With HUMAN, Designer Core introduces a wardrobe that exists beyond gender and beyond categories — focusing instead on individuality, presence, and the quiet confidence of simply being human.
